Jane Lockhart petition

Your memorialist further represents unto your
Honorable Body, that she rendered valuable
services to the sick and wounded of the army
in 1836 and 1837, nursing them and at her own expense
administering to their needs. She therefore prays your
Honorable Body to give her such relief as her
services and losses may seem to entitle her to
and for the truth of the representations here made
your Memorialist respectfully refers to many
members of the present Legislature, and to his
Excellency Governor Bell.
