Advisory Groups for Library Development and Networking
The Library Development and Networking (LDN) Division seeks input from a wide range of constituents to inform its programs to enhance library services to Texas. Some of these advisory groups are written into state statute, while others are formed by the agency to assist with particular programs. We also seek input from ad hoc groups and task forces for time-sensitive projects.
Statutory Advisory Groups
Library Systems Act Advisory Board - The LSA Advisory Board advises the commission on any matter related to the Texas Library Systems Act, including recommending changes in the "Rules for Administering the Library Systems Act," and recommendations regarding public libraries that appeal loss of accreditation.
