been guided in the grouping

yourself of this memorable en-
gagement. I must say
at the same time that I
believe you have so arranged
the grouping as to secure
all the elements of a grand
Picture. As [to] the distribution
of the masses of light and
shade will have so much
to do in establishing the
effect of the whole composition
and as this sketch is only an
outline of the figures employed
it is now impossible to
express my opinion in
