Dear Sir.

            As my mother has been sick

for some time, and is now in bed,

I wish to give you the the [sic] information

in regard to my father.

            His height 5 ft 8&1/2 inches, hazel eyes,

fair complexion[,] dark auburn hair

or in common parlance red - in build slightly

inclined to corpulency.

My mother regrets not having replied to

your request sooner, but ill health

and nervous prostration has [sic] prevented her

so doing. With best wishes for your

success I am very respectfully
