a little of what needs, tho’ he don’t want
any thing of the kind! He did not call
on me, nor let me know that he was in
the city. I will write to him at the Island,
and learn what I can, and if he
he [sic] does not inform me, I will surely
learn him something. Oh! I should
be truly pleased, if I have, all my wor-
thy Cabinet with me, but it will hap-
pen ere long I trust.
The Messrs Kulps, or Culps,
are as clever, genteel, attentive & steady
as war—and no young Gentlemen
stand higher. I want to call on them
tomorrow!
Mrs Houston joins me, in true
regards to you. Write constantly!
