in the light of an “Expose” it is certainly
a perfect exposure, so far as it goes,
but, he has not exposed all!
Who has ever seen so silly, and
at the sametime, so weak, an attempt
to offer an indignity, to the Head of a
nation as it is? Verily he shall have
his reward. It was his duty to report
to the President, as all his functions
(I mean legal) were derived from him[.]
He shall yet do it, or I will surely make
him repent it sorely. He has tried very
hard to subsidise [sic] every Press in Texas,
to sustain his interest, and his intention
is to run for next President. He won’t
truly shine, a 2nd Lamar, a pure and
perfect Nullifier!!! I do wish you
would take him up, and give him
