Resources
TexQuest is a statewide digital resources program that provides anytime, anywhere access to high-quality, authoritative digital resources to all educators, students, and students' immediate families in Texas K-12 public schools and open-enrollment charter schools. The program is supported, in part, by appropriations from the Texas State Legislature and district annual membership fees, which include access to electronic resources, training, and technical support.

TexQuest Electronic Resource Program Authorized Access
ChalkDUST has been updated with the new TexQuest resources added since June 2016. They include Britannica E-STAX, EBSCO eBooks, Gale's Science in Context, ProQuest's SIRS Discoverer, and TalkingBooks.net. The updated usage statistics include a new metric for Full Text Documents, which is used for Britannica E-Stax, EBSCO eBooks, Gale, and ProQuest's SIRS Discoverer.

Open eBooks is a partnership between Digital Public Library of America, The New York Public Library, and First Book and is part of the White House ConnectED Initiative.
Summer Reading Programs - Public libraries offer summer programs to encourage children and teens to read for pleasure and to promote literacy. Contact your local public library for more information.
Talking Book Program - a free service that loans materials to people who cannot read standard print publications due to visual, physical or reading disabilities.
