Webinar Series: Email Records
One of the most frequently asked questions received at TSLAC is "How long do I keep emails?" Email is a ubiquitous tool of communication used by local governments and state agencies in Texas to communicate and conduct government business. However, what happens to those email communications sitting in the inbox and sent folders? Are the emails records? How do governments maintain and store email messages?
In this seven-part mini webinar series we will go over topics such as email as a government record, creation of a file plan, capture strategies, and construction of a policy. All videos are between 10 and 20 minutes in length. Enjoy the series!
